The Anion Resin for D M Plant removes a majority of the mineral content from water. This takes place by passing the solution via a cation exchanger in the form of hydrogen, which is followed by a two-column process.

This demineralisation procedure has two sides-

Cation Resin For D M Plant- without silica removal

A procedure wherein anion exchange is utilized in hydroxide form. The robust acids such as Hydrochloric acid (HCl) and Sulphuric acid (H2S04) are taken in whereas the weak ones such as Carbonic acid (H2C03) and Silicic acid are modified. Such a process finishes a majority of the salts from raw water.

The anion exchanger can be recreated by exhaustion of 1-5% of Sodium hydroxide (NaOH), Sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) or Ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH).

Cation Resin For D M Plant Resin - with silica removal

The water is passed through an exceptional acid cation exchanger, after which is goes through the base anion exchanger, which removes weak acids such as Carbonic acid (H2C03) coupled with strong acids such as Sulphuric acid (H2S04).

Positioned between cation and anion exchangers, the degasser aids in removing CO2. While the water quality conductivity is lower than 30 Micro Mhos, a pH for SiO2 between 7.5 to 9.5 is attainable.
